Nintendo DS without WEP

I have been reading on other forums that WEP provides really pants security.
For all it's worth it just takes up resources and any Tom **** or Harry can hack it.
But WPA is much better and worth running on your wireless network.
Is this true ? I don't really wanna compromise my network for the sake of my DS.
Most other ISPs default to WEP on install can it really be that bad ???

You could get one of those usb wires for your ds and you wont need to change to wep (which really is pants security). My brothers kids got a couple for their ds's and just hook it up through their laptops.

Its woeful, on a busy-ish network you can have the key in about 10mins.

I'd recommend the USB route!

You can get one of these instead

There are other sticks that work but you would need to fish around in forums to see which definately work with the DS. A colleague has the nintendo stick and it works really well.
