Have you entered your network key into the Wii?
It will be printed on the bottom of your router.

Glad to hear you're up and running.

Don't forget the BBC i-player will run on the Wii now, as long as you download the Opera browser for the internet channel (costs 3.50).

Why do you have a dongle, we can connect using my wireless modem/router and do not have one.

Have you got another PC running a wireless connection?
As above you don't need the dongle.
MAC's are for when you are transferring from one ISP to another, you need to get your Wii to discover your wireless network, and enter the network key (it is case sensitive) that are printed on a card and also on the bottom of your router.
If the Wii is your only wireless device, I.E you have not had it working before, then it may be necessary to change the wireless channel on your router.

Good point, Ive noticed if we have the downstairs computer (connected to modem/router) and the upstairs computer on at the same time the Wii will not work, if we turn the upstairs PC off reboot router it then works.
