      This is getting rediclous!

      First of I dont know how to spell rediclous, I was never very good at spelling.

      I followed the advice of the people on this form and rang up about this max delays thing, I asked the woman and explained my situation. She said she does not know who tier 2 and tier 3 are and also does not know what a ping is. She troubleshooted me for a slow connecttion and guess what... nothing helped so after I rang back expecting to have a ticket open because the woman said said she had done so. They had no record of me ringing for some reason. Then she said that I had to try again for the trobleshooting, so I decided to wait a few hours then ring back. This time a man awnsered and told me that he had no record of me being trobule shooted for a slow connection. At that point I just put the phone down on him because I was so annoyed. Can you get in touch with them by email so that someone can understand what I am saying.


      Avrage ping on a UK server for counterstrike 50 miles 120ms. WTF? Mat has only 18ms.

      Fill out this form and send it in. in the first section select "I am having technical difficulties". Copy and paste the following text in the description box:


      After reviewing the sky forums sites, recent escalations from customers and after discussions with Marketing, please can you implement the following

      Should any customer be transferred to Tier 3 and request for their max delay levels to be decreased as a result of them using their broadband connection for Gaming, please arrange for this to be done. You should look to set their max delays at 8. Please ensure you leave the customer with a stable line after completing this."

      You should receive a call from Sky within 5 days and you can then get your max delays lowered.

      yeah, that gets closed without even being read...same with quoting router stats, means nothing to anyone at tech...

      your best bet is to just say you're a gamer and want delays lowered...

      as for tier 1 knowing who tier 2/3 are - that's cause they don't exist anymore and if they were new they'd have no idea who you're talking about.

      it really depends on who you speak with. I had to make around 6 different calls but i got there in the end. My ping lowered from 50+ to 28ish. as mention aboved just mention your a gamer, have a look at this thread to see how i got mine done

      10 day training before any adjustments?
