      Archlord - a good ping rate - and anyway to check it?

      Hi

      This is the only online game ilm playing at the minute, but i do seem to suffer from a fair bit of lag when grinding multiple enemies, even when the server congestion is 'medium'. I am just wondering, if there is any way to ping their servers and what a decent ping rate should be?. I'm on the max package (interleaved), and get an average of 36ms with bbc.co.uk.

      I don't know if you have asked for the Max Delays lowered?

      With a ping of 36 I would have thought it would be OK

      No, i havent asked sky to do anything wiht my max delay, as i wanted to check if it was a general problem with the game. before going through the process.

      I don't think too many people are playing it, it had a pretty lukewarm launch not helped by the fact that the open beta had some serious problems.

      I installed the open beta client and had my "testing" install of windows crash and burn on me after running it once.

      I have no idea where the archlord server is, perhaps that info can be found on the official forums?

      A lot of the issues I have seen when people have done traceroutes to game servers is that there is no real issue on the easynet part of the trace but on intermediate systems between the Sky bit and the game bit.
