Fill out this form, (I put slow connection as my problem) and someone from Tier 3 should call you back within 5 days, then tell them that you want your max delays reduced and they will sort it out while you are on the phone to them.

It would probably be a good idea to be there yourself, at least then you can test ping times to bbc.co.uk etc while you're on the phone to them.

I've had a bit of a fun morning (not). I sent a message to tec support last night via the sky web page telling them I wanted my max delay down to 8. I woke up this morning and found that they had changed my sink with the exchange from 16meg down to 10meg. I phoned them and after about 20 mins (it took that long for me to explain to the 1 lvl support what was wrong. I ended up having to tell her porkys) i got put through to a higher lvl support person. I found out from him that all they did was reduce my sink not delay. This person however was very helpful. He put my sink up to 16 meg again and reduced the max delay to 8 while I was on the phone with him. If only the 1st lvl support was as good as he was it would have been a much better experience (and cheaper). So you were right. If I hadn't been here it would probibly have caused problems.

      Thanks for the advice mate.

Re: Max delay who do I contact?

I phoned twice now to try and get SKY to alter my max delays to 8 explaining that I wanted it changing to improve gaming on PS3.

The first time I phoned the woman said to contact Sony as there was nothing they could do.

The next time I phoned a different woman said simply that SKY don't support gaming.
