      Max delay

OK so I got my line activated today, was on tiscali im not liking my ping to much it's ok on some servers but some servers i like to go on it goes into the 70's which i don't like. I hear i can get my max delay lowered how could i do this and how would this affect my speed, im very happy with the speed.

      Re: Max delay

Yes, that's a very good sync for your attenuation.

By lowering your interleave delay/depth you would possibly see a very small increase in sync speed but I doubt that it would be noticeable in download speed.

The only problem you may experience would be if your line was poor quality as line errors may rise to unacceptable levels. Your line doesn't look poor quality judging by your high sync.

To get it changed either call or email Sky - discussed at length elsewhere in this forum.
