Had the game now for a few days but getting terribly high pings (80-200+!!). My guess is it's game related as I can Play BF2142, CS, Eve-online and have pings in the region on 20-40.

Seems i'm not alone as a quick search on google and yahoo brings up lots of threads from people all suffering the same! The 1.5 multiplayer patch is out but not installing that as it's not backward compatible with servers running ver. 1.4

When my ping times are back to a decent level, i'll give your server a blast.

nb. system spec is:
AMD 64 x2 6000+
M2N32-SLI Deluxe
2 x 1gig DDR2 sticks (666mhz D/C)
8800gtx

So plenty of horsepower to run the game

I had problems applying the 1.5 patch too.

I put the download in my COD4 folder & unwrapped it there & it worked fine.
Give it a try if you haven't already

tried connecting but doesn't recognise the server!! It still live?

Not at the moment but that should be rectified soon.
