Re: To get max delay reduced dont bother with online form

Ok so they have reduced your Max Delay.
What are the results you now get when you ping bbc.co.uk or jolt.co.uk?

How are you connecting your PS3 to your router, wired or wireless?
I ask this because wireless on PS3 isn't that good unless it is within girly spitting distance of the router.
Have you tried connecting your router to the test socket to see if this improves things?

What games are specifically causing problems?
Do they have dedicated servers or are they P2P client/server based games?
(Call of Duty is P2P so you will suffer if connecting to an american host, which is most of the time after 2pm).

All these things can make a big difference to your gaming experience.

If you're using windows xp, press start ==>run==>type cmd and press enter. Now type ping bbc.co.uk into the black box on screen and press enter. Exactly the same process for jolt.co.uk

If you have Vista press the windows button and type cmd into the search bar, then follow the same procedure.

Re: To get max delay reduced dont bother with online form

Yeah they are not bad, I get around 24ms and my Max Delays have also been lowered.

Must be something else causing the issues then, do you have any other pc's on while you are gaming? It sounds as if something may be sucking up your bandwidth.
