Not quite sure how Sky support works, but I've been having a problem with the Error 300 issue...think if I rang them up and said the issue has come back, but Tier 3 now know how to solve it, they'd put me straight through to Tier 3? I could then pretend its suddenly started working after a router reboot (which happened this morning) and ask for my Max Delay to be reduced?
EDIT: It works! (Not that I was doubting)
The telephone op. said she had no idea if it would work, but she'd do it anyway.
My pings have halved...
Google is 42ms a go, while it used to be 150ms, my Speedtest.net ping has halved done to 45ms from 90ms, I'll test out games later
