Mac address / username for BT Speedtester

Hi,

My new Sky Connect line is horribly slow, so Sky have asked me to run the tests at speedtester.bt.com

I was told to use the username macaddress@SKYDSL but it doesn't seem to work. Have tried it with and without the commas, to no avail.

Do we put @SKYDSL without a domain extension, .com, .net etc? Or have I been given duff information? I've tried the mac address with and without the colons in between.

Use the LAN MAC address of your router followed by @skydsl e.g. 001B3F81BEE9@skydsl. Note is must be the LAN MAC not the ADSL MAC and entered without the colons. You'll find the LAN MAC in your router status page so copy and paste it to avoid mistyping.

Ah, thanks. I was using the ADSL mac address! Will give it a go tonight. Many thanks indeed for your help
