Android only for me, even my eldest recently dumped her iPhone for a Sony Xperia S.

Might do. I've had my 3GS for more than 3 years now.

      Re: New iPhone 5

I've never had an iPhone and currently use a Samsung SII. The Wife has an iPhone 4 and I prefer everything about it apart from the screen size, so now it is bigger in the iPhone 5 I will definitely look to upgrade when I can.

      Re: New iPhone 5

If it is just the screen size, what about the Samsung Galaxy SIII? It has a 4.8" screen compared to the iPhone 5's 4" screen.

BBC News - Apple iPhone 5 unveiled with taller screen and 4G
Apple has unveiled a taller, 4G-enabled iPhone at an event in San Francisco.
The device's new size allows it to display an extra row of app icons on its home screen.

The firm said it was 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S. The screen measures 4in (10.2cm) which is still smaller than rival devices from Samsung, Nokia, Motorola and HTC
Before you all get excited about the 4G component, consider carefully what that actually means. Samsung owns the patents to one 4G system used in the USA and have basically said that Apple shall never use it. Over here there are a variety of different 4G systems being developed, with one of them launched yesterday.

Also do have a little read of this article: BBC News - Viewpoint: Apple's iPhone launches no longer excite
This is what happens when a company is too cheap to invest in research and development. Did you know that Apple spends far less on R&D than any of its rivals - a paltry 2% of revenues, versus 14% for Google and Microsoft?
