You are in a quicky reducing minority who haven't had DSO. We were DSO'd in 2009 and Ceefax went at the same time (it only works on Analogue transmissions).

Ceefax, I havn't seen that in years! Mind you I havn't seen analogue telly in years. Does anyone else remember when the Viewdata standard (teletext text and graphics) was the standard for Online content in the days before the Internet? Prestel? Micronet? Anyone know what I'm talking about? Or am I the only one left alive who remembers this stuff?

I recall being given an assignment at college to try and put some pages together using the standard if that helps

      Re: Pages from ceefax

I used to love Prestel/Micronet, I had to give it up in the end as it was more than my student budget could afford.

I was later a subscriber to the legendary Gnome at Home, I used to run my own pages in the Goblin Grotto there. I guess in todays terms it would be the equivalent of an internet forum and blog. Happy days.
