cat run down on saturday
hi guys as you know i live in ponteland a small villege theres a road called north road which is used to go up to the police headquarters and morpeth. when me and me mother where heading out to the shops we always go to the north road thats the bottom road that goes past the blackbird pub. now as we where coming to the thornhil junction next to ashbrooke drive we turned right not to go to morpeth but to go towards the pub. now we came across a cat lying on the side of the road at first we thought it was just licking itself or doing those things where they spine around on the ground only it wasnt. when we stopped here it was hit buy a car we know it was because a army lad said he accidently hit it buy accident. so my question is what do you do how do you find the owner etc cause it had no colar on some do with home numbers usally.

It might be more prudent to wait for any "my cat is missing - have you seen it?" posters that the owners will be likely to post up.
Our 16 year old cat died naturally on Monday night.

Re: cat run down on saturday
I assume it was dead when you found it... it's the one thing every cat owner dreads, a cat that goes out one day and never comes back. The not knowing is almost worse than knowing it's passed away.
