      hope you get it sorted is all I can say. I mean I would understand if it was peak times and having latency issues due to congestion but with it all the time hum.

      Have also been on the phone to Sky and they said I have a gamer profile too...The plot thickens! Turned my router off overnight so hopefully will get a decent result in a bit.

      ah yea what can happen is the speed and upload for me keeps changing so I have to reset it every so often to register the latest specs if you do it every couple of days it should improve but if it still continues try ringing sky if they can do a line check or something.

      I think it's actually my Sky router that's the problem (Was my initial thought actually). I have another router though and apparently there's a way to use the Sky router as just a modem (To stay within Sky's T&C's) and have everything else go through my Netgear router. need to do some more detective work to see how - I tried last night and failed! lol

      Been trying to use my crappy Sky router as a modem and my nr1000 router to handle everything else but not happening at the moment arrghh!

      have you tried putting your xbox in dmz mode i have with my ps3 and its great online dmz mode basically means putting your ip of your xbox outside the router firewall
