      Re: FAQ for The Cloud

You'll need to check to see if there is a suitable app available. If not, then I would suggest that the first time you use it, log in and sign in to your Sky account, as people would with their Laptops.

There is no app available for Laptops, but it is remembered which ones are allowed and whose accounts they belong to.

The app on my Android phone updates the list of Access points periodically (when I specifically run it) so that you can use the map to find the nearest free access points.

      Re: FAQ for The Cloud

Nice article, but the truth is that there are many sites across the UK alone which offer large volumes of storage.

Annoyingly much of the common cloud services we use will have servers in the USA, which I have no doubt the NSA will be looking through.

However this section of the forum and this thread are not relevant to Cloud storage. This section and this thread are dedicated to The Cloud WiFi Hotspot which Sky purchased some time back and something you could use if you actually lived in the UK. It is also available for free to most Sky Broadband customers.
