Tried the Open Dns way and still no joy getting to the sky links? is there anything on my pc that would be preventing me reaching the links? don't have firewall software i do have spyblaster running but disabled the ie protection what about windows defender could that stop it? my os is vista x64 ultimate thanks for the help guys

Try disabling any anti-spyware program you have installed because perhaps they are blocking the links. Failing that post your results from a tracert to www.skytv.at via the command prompt:

C Documents & Settings > Your Username > Tracert www.skytv
