      Cat 5e ethernet cable work fine?

      Between pc and router/modem?
      30m UTP Cat 5e straight cable, will that be ok as i've found 30m that i bought ages ago, and stored in the loft just incase, might come in handy now,lol.

      a 30m cable will work fine

      The max length you can use is 100m so you are fine.
