      When I had my fibre installed it wasn't OR who changed my faceplate and installed the modem, it was a comms company.
      Not sure if that's the same as what you are referring to above ?

      It may have been Kelly Communications. They are often sub-contracted by Openreach but they wouldn't install your Sky dish.

      Sky have always been wary of having to use Openreach for telephone and broadband installs but unfortunately in the current system they have no choice.

      People with constant problems will often but not always be offered a Sky "engineer" visit to check or repair things where an internal/faceplate issue is suspected.

      well unless we end up like america where if you cancel your broadband or whatever an engineer comes and cut your cable on purpose out of spite lol.

      I've seen a VM engineer cut BTs cable. They weren't happy with Virgin so went back to Sky the following month. I thought Openreach would rerun the drop line but did an inline splice instead.
