Sadly not just in this industry. I was astounded to discover a garage had used silicone to stick some hub caps back on my alloys as they has broken all of the clips! I only found out when I tried to take the wheel off. I don't know what was worse, finding they had broken EVERY SINGLE clip or the silicone!!

Ah, yes, garages. I bought a car from a bloke I know who had all the work done at his local garage. The car came with a pile of receipts for work done.
I'm slowly going over the car doing the work the bloke was charged for but hadn't been done. Where work had been done, it was done so badly they would have been better leaving it alone.
