New build house and sky/OR installation

      Hi all,

I am not sure if this is the correct place for this question, but as it relates to faceplates and wiring, I thought it would be a good place to start.

I am moving into a new build in December.
I have organized an openreach visit through SKY for the installation.
Whilst looking around the house last week, the electrician mentioned that there was a BT point in the hall and blank faceplates in the lounge and bedroom.
As I have booked OR in to do the installation of a line does anyone know if the installation would include sockets in the loune and bedroom or would these be extra?
I have asked this to SKY but they are unable to give me the info.

      Many thanks

BTO will normally only connect to the Master socket. Anything in addition would be chargable. Is there any wiring behind the faceplates? If so it is fairly easy to connect them at the master socket and add facepplates.

Master sockets still in hall eh? I guess the question is where do you plan to have your modem or router? Do you need a point in the bedroom? (most people have DECT phones these days).
