      Re: ADSL Faceplate

The Sky+ HD & Sky HD STBs need to connect via your Sky router, not the ADSL connection.

However, you can connect them both via the telephone connection to get some Interactive services and also order Sky Box Office via the STB.

Rather than connect any extensions to the A&B connectors, just use the 2&5 connections. By using the A&B connections you would likely reduce your connection speed.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

      Re: ADSL Faceplate

You can have both an analogue device(phone, STB etc etc) & ADSL router off the A & B terminals but that extension must be filtered, neatest solution is one of these sockets:-

BT Socket, ADSL Filtered With RJ45/RJ11

So long as good quality cable is used (CW1308) you are unlikely to affect the connection speed as the ring wire is not in the equation. All other extensions connect to 2, 3 & 5 and do not require plug in filteres.
