Ah yes I did get the discount...thanks for that. I guess the discount is being funded by a cutback in chocolate!

Couple of new developments to this thread.

1) RUNITDIRECT have now sent us their products to review, which I shall complete over the next few days.

2) Tamar have sent us the following message today.

I hope you don’t mind, (the discount coupon code) but I have re-enabled it until the end of July. I have also removed all restrictions, so your users can use the coupon as many times as they like and the 10% discount can be applied against all our products, not just ADSL filters…

Shame i ordered my tamar faceplate earlier this week and tried the code but was expired. Ah well i'm happy with its performace anyway so well worth it

After reading the review (and a 10% discount )
It's made me finally get my finger out and order a faceplate.

I've currently got a filter plugged into the test socket, it seemed the easy way to do it
I'm a little bit nervous.
I'm not too good at DIY.

Judging by this post it's took over 2 years for me to get round to doing it

Well 6 weeks after I ordered the Tamar faceplate, I got round to fitting it!
At first the router kept rebooting about every 10 minutes So I swapped the connections to A/B on the backbox (which I also fitted) and all seems to be running ok

Attn(dB): 36.0 23.0
Pwr(dBm): 19.8 0.8
Max(Kbps): 9280 1184
Rate (Kbps): 8096 416

Total time = 1 days 2 hours 3 min 3 sec
SF = 5514729
CRC = 323
LOS = 0
LOF = 0
ES = 227

It used to sync at just under 7000 on a good day with crc errors at about 1500
after 24 hours. The longest it's gone before rebooting was about 8 days.
I'll see how long it lasts now

I have now had chance to review the 3 face plates that Run-IT-Direct sent us to try. I have amended my original review to reflect the newer results.
