This forum is for help with all things Sky BB, but not supported by Sky. Examples are:
      • Help with using a router not supplied by Sky on Sky BB.
      • Help with using the Sky router on other BB services.
      • Help with using additional hardware (e.g. wireless repeaters) in conjunction with the Sky router.
      • Help with tools and utilities not supplied by Sky.
      • Help with everything that uses the URL injection method. For example:
        • Obtaining your ADSL user name and password.
        • Customisations of the router / connection that are not done via the standard web login, such as configuring the SNR.
        • Obtaining additional information from the router that is not done via the standard web login.
        • Using telnet to customise the router.

If the topic is something that would be supported by Sky, such as "how do I obtain my line stats?", then the two technical forums aren't the place for the topic. If the topic is one that wouldn't be supported by Sky but is more general or theoretical than simply asking for help, then the "Technical discussion" (http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/technical-discussion/) forum is probably more appropriate because this forum is more for obtaining assistance with an unsupported configuration.
