      Port Forwarding

      Hello all,

I am trying to port forward an incoming WAN port to a different LAN port to enable for RDP (3389) access over port 80.

I cant find any option for this on the sky router, the custom port "RDP" has been added within services and listed as port 3389 however in firewall rules there is only the option to present one port to the WAN.

Has anyone found a way around this as of yet.. looking back on some old posts it seems there was some mention of URL injection to get this custom implemented but I have no idea.

or alternatively use your own router. Provided your router supports option 61 then you shouldn't have issues connecting to sky. I use port forwarding with Opnsense with no issues.

      Re: Port Forwarding

I previously had a Cisco 887 connected but the throughput was too slow for my new connection so I have had to revert to Sky's ER110.

Im sure I had this setup to forward 3389 to port 80 before but no idea how i done it... then again i could be thinking back to when pastures had been greener when connected via my Cisco...
