TP-LINK Archer VR2800 WiFi Modem Router

      Hi

Has anyone set this Modem / Router up with Sky Fibre Broadband? I am looking for advice as to: -

      1. How to extract Username and Password from a brand new Sky Q Modem / Router - if this is needed?
      2. Can I simply replace the Sky Q unit and replace it with the TP-Link or do I use the TP-Link for wifi only, attaching it to Sky's unit?
      3. Anything else I need to know?

      Hope someone can advise

      Cheers

      roz

hi. you don't need to extract a username and password but the modem/router will need to support option 61 to work with sky fibre.

if the unit can be a wap then you could use it with the skyq.

I am not familiar with many combined units as I use seperate devices but option 61 is a must to work with sky fibre.
