Netgear D7000 set up problems - Help please

Well to sum it up I'm now officially tearing my hair out.

I'm trying to swap my Sky Hub SR102 for a Netgear D7000 to use on Sky Fibre. Sounds simple enough but I just can't get it to work. Does anyone have any step by step advice for me please.

I've downloaded Wireshark and got my username and password but am totally lost by the plethora of options in the routerlogin set up screens. I think I've used a whole year's worth of googling trying to find how to do it. My internet light on the D7000 remains amber and no internet connection is made no matter what I've tried so far.

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Try this link, it refers to the D6400 but setup is the same.

Wow I just knew it really was that simple - I just couldn't see the woods for the trees. It was your screen shot in MSG #249 that sorted it. Having got the username and password I was assuming that I needed yes in the "does your internet connection require a login" check box.

Many thanks for your help on this one.

I am considering the D7000 too re the screen shot on post 249 is the mac address the same one that get from your sr102 admin page ? i.e. the one thaqt you use to extract your user name and password
