How can I get a Sky HD V9 remote to operate a Thomson Sky plus box
Hi
I only want to use the box as a Freesat box. I have been given a Thomson Sky plus box which I have reformatted and it shows a Freesat signal happily on my Panasonic TV. I can change the channels on my tv using the buttons on the sky box but I can't get the remote to talk to the Sky box. I understand there are codes to enable the remote to talk to the TV and I have them but I have not tried this as the box talks to the TV quite happily, its just the remote that won't talk to the sky pl;us box. The HD remote is V9.
Any ideas?

Try this, press the TV button, hold Blue+Select until LED flashes twice. Now press 2 then Select. Press Sky.
If that does not work do the same but substitute the Red button for Blue and 0 for 2.
To reset the Remote, remove one of the batteries and press the Select button for 30 seconds. Replace battery.
