If there's an issue in the wiring between the junction box and your master socket this 'test' would rule it out.

Re: Trial Period
Wouldnt the engineer have tested something like that.
I mean what exactly would i be doing, are there 2 forms of wires, because the wire from the junction box to the master socket has been tested.
I guess i'll just leave it for a day or so, see if i have anymore drop outs.#
Not wanting to go do more DIYwiring and then screwing up along the lines and having to wait more weeks. From what i seen in that junction box there was looots of wires haha

Re: Trial Period
Hey no worries. I am sure you made the right decision.
I was sighing for a different reason.

Re: Trial Period
So the router was about to be connected for about 1day but then decided that at 23hr 38mins it decided to cut off then re-connect.
The sync rate on the router is jumping up and down.
When the BT guy got it reset it was synching at about 14,300kb
now its 13,100kb
The IP Profile (according to BT Speedtester) is sticking at 10,000.
Might just buy an RJ45 cable from downstairs to upstairs instead of the long cable from the filter to the router travelling all that way.
So will shift my router downstairs closer to the BT Box, see if that helps
