Re: Trial Period
I think they have set your noise margin too low. If you have the Billion router you could probably tweak it up a bit which would make it more stable. Exdee knows more about that than me so he could probably advise. If you are not using the Billion, let us know what you have.

Re: Trial Period
Your noise margin was very high, which you don't really want as the higher the noise margin the lower your sync speed will be. Exdee knows of a tool which enables you to do it, maybe he will be good enough to give the benefit of his experience.

Re: Trial Period
The 5200 has a trend chipset hence it's not possible to tweak the snr.

I don't think we've discussed your internal wiring yet..
How many sockets? junction boxes etc?

Re: Trial Period
I would be inclined to test the broadband and phone at the junction box. You can do this by temporarily removing your faceplate from the master socket and connecting the main BT wire coming in the junction box to it (terminal 2 and 5) .
Leave it there for a while and see if it still gives you problems.

Re: Trial Period
Hmm i dont really know what you mean by that. When the first Engineer came out, he did install a new Openreach faceplate..
Basically when u say junction box does u mean NTE5 socket?
i basically have a cable coming in from the outside going through a box, then the cable from the box to the NTE5 socket, then my filter is plugged in to that Socket and the router cable onwards.
