The GT was a good router in its day, but there are much better and faster ones available now. If you are buying it is better to getting an N speed router, most modern laptops come with N capable adapters and the USB type are coming down in price. Probably the best thing to do, is have a look at your ISPs forum and find out which make performs best with their exchange equipment.
