sky on my laptop

hi i've got sky+hd and so has my mate, but my mate has managed to figure out how to watch wot ever any1 else is watching on his sky box on his laptop, if any one knows how to do this can they please let me know

you need a slingbox.

or connect a cable from the rf out to a anologue tv card/usb dongle and tune in

he had a normal sky box at his house and he was at work watching his box live, and if someone changed the channel it would change on his laptop aswel there was no delay or nothing

or anologue usb tuner, i think you can do something like that in windows media player on vista, or am i thinking blazevideo

Slingbox, definitely. When I was off work sick, I watched Sky on my laptop in bed using it - saved me walking down the stairs

You can change channel on the laptop as well, as it has a little infra-red thingy that plugs into the slingbox and then sits on the top of your Sky box.
