Re: using WAP to get laptop online

Presumably you need a mobile wireless dongle (probably from Orange) for your laptop.

Re: using WAP to get laptop online

A couple of things. Firstly you would need the settings from Orange so that you could use your phone as a modem. How much data had Orange given you ? They tend to do 2 packages one is the unlimited evening and weekend package. (after 7 in the evening all day weekends). The other package which they call unlimited is in fact 250mb and then charged around 94p per mb after that. Neither package should be used as modem use. This not to say you cant use it just that you should not. So before you set up the phone find out if the data package has a FUP.
