Whilst the default values are hard-coded, they can be overridden in the sky firmware and saved in nvram - you don't
need CU3. If you telnet to the router, you can type something like:
nvram set wan_dns1=208.67.222.222
nvram set wan_dns2=208.67.220.220
nvram set wan_fix_dns=1
That will survive a router reboot.
If you can't get to a telnet prompt, there are a large number of ways to enable it in the Sky firmware. Personally, I use BSR
New monitor tool (2.0.0.0) to reboot router automatically, but then again, I would.
