Hey guys, the problem i'm having is that i cant download any firmware from netgear because the downloads never start. netgear's firmware are on their ftp servers.
DG834v3 & DG834Gv3 Firmware Version 4.01.28UK/4.01.27WW
i have tried with the black sky router and my own white netgear router to download the files and have had no luck. im on winxp sp3. i've tried downloading with Orbit downloader aswell as firefox 3 and IE7. im on the MAX broadband package
this is the usual response i get from orbit.

i've tried using the WinsockxpFix.exe to no avail.
any suggestions?
