Bricked my V1 router! But i got it back...Sort of?

Hey guys, this morning thought id flash the router back to the Netgear firmware, easy peasey untill my nice laptop blue screened when it started to flash. Aparently it was a known issue on vista, not to me lol. Anyways router was bricked and read in a post that the router thinks it is a D845pn so i got it to flash with the PN firmware all well and good im back on the net. but how do i get it back to the Netgear D845GT firmware. I tryed the switching file name to the PN firmare but it wasnt fooled.

When you flashed it originally you should have shown it the PN firmware, then swapped this for the GT firmware before doing the flash. Have you tried renaming the PN firmware to just 'Firmware' show it to the router then substitute this file with the GT firmware, also renamed 'Firmware'.
