Username and Password

Hi all new to here so i hope i am doing this right.

Sky in there infinite wisdom told me a pile of porkies about what router i would get and sent me the sagem new model (at work so dont have the info to hand).

the router is not strong enough for the signal i require and sky say they won't upgrade it event hough they said i would get a N class router in the first place.

what i need to do is get the username and password to use my own N class router.

can anyone help me on how to get this.

this is not againist the T& C's with sky, it just means if you use your own router they will not repair problems that occur.

so does anyone know how to break the username and password on the sky routers ???

it IS against T&C's actually, as the contract you've signed up for states you HAVE to use the Sky-supplied hardware...

having said that, look one forum down from the one you posted this in and there is the info you need...just bare in mind, if caught, that you risk termination of contract.

ever thought of powerline adapters as opposed to the rubbish that is wireless?

thanks for the info, the reason i say its not against T&c's is because iw as told on the phone by sky that i could use my own but they would not repair if things went wrong.

glad to hear they record these things, and seeing as mine was a complaint call there is more chance that it was recorded so i have a safety net there at least.
