Setting up Wired Network through SKY netgear WHITE ROUTER

Hi, I am having trouble setting up a second wired computer to the router to gain access to the internet. can anyone tell me how to set up a network please and how to gain a connection. I have plugged the cable into the router ant port 2 and have tried to set up a small office network but think i have done it all wrong please help I hvae a stroppy husband who wants to use the laptop.

Ok, so you have two Devices that you want connecting. What are there operating systems (so we can help with instructions).

Hi Alison.

Plugging the second PC into the router on port 2 should allow that PC to connect to the internet with no further intervention. To set up a network between the two PC's for file sharing etc, please see the above post.
