Panasonic IP camera
guys, I have searched and read this site, but ave not been able to find the exact answer. I apologise in advance if I have missed the answer in a FAQ somewhere !
I have just had to return to my SAGEM router FAST model as the draytek died last night.
I have the webcam with ip address 192.168.0.253.
I have set up dyn dns etc but all I can see externally is my router login panel ?
can someome please explain or point me to something on setting up an IP camera to be visible to the outisde world.
I am not interested in any gaming just getting this webcam going
many thanks in advance

That's correct because you are on the inside of the routers network, its to do with loopback I think, but if you were to try from a neighbours connection, it should be fine.
If you wish to PM me your Sky IP I can check this end for you.

Re: Panasonic IP camera
hi sorry don't know how to PM from this forum. I have checked the IP from another location and it is the router login.
I need to know how to set up port forwarding on the SAGEM. I found a doc last night and will try it tonight.
but if you can guide me my email is hocombewood at googlemail.com

Re: Panasonic IP camera
To send a PM to a member, if you left click on my name in the post above to the left, (or this post) you should then get a drop down menu, Send a private message to NewsreadeR, click that and away you go.
What's the port number the camera uses?

Re: Panasonic IP camera
OK looking at the manual
http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/products/...nual/c1_oi.pdf
Go to page 123, change the port number to 80 if not already set at, and then change the 192.168.0.253 to 192.168.0.15 and then forward port 80 to 192.168.0.15 as per above tutorial.

Re: Panasonic IP camera
Yes you can, I was just trying to make the instructions as easy and logical as possible.
