From having a quick search, it seems that the Sky Netgear router doesn't do QoS or any bandwidth management, but it's something I could do with and I'd appreciate any suggestions. Here are the approaches I was thinking about
:
- Flash router with different firmware
- Use a second router and do the same (I've got a spare Linksys one but it's a bit unreliable since the cat spilled a vase of water on it - needs reset regularly)
- Proxy server (I've got a spare PowerMac G4)
